1 C softened butter
1/2 C powder sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 C flour
3/4 C chopped walnuts
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter- then add vanilla and sugar and blend slowly.
Add flour and salt and blend well. Mix in nuts Dough may be stiff- so may need to finish mixing my hand.
Roll into balls about walnut size

Bake 375º 8-10 mins or light straw color

Put powder sugar in bowl and when cookies are cool enough to handle- gently roll cookies in powder sugar.
Cool on a rack and when completely cool- roll in powder sugar again
Store with wax paper in between
