Ingredients: 1¼ lb of ground beef 3 oz cream cheese 1 tsp chili powder 18 jumbo pasta shells 1 cup of taco sauce (sometimes I use a little more) 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1 cup shredded monterey jack cheese 1½ cup crushed tortilla chips salt to taste pepper to taste 1 tbsp minced garlic Optional: diced jalapeños
Optional for serving: Sour cream, hot sauce, salsa etc.

Directions:1.Preheat the oven to 350º. 2.Cook the pasta shells according to package directions and drain. Rinse them in cold water to prevent them from sticking to each other. 3. In a skillet, brown the beef with the salt. 4. Drain the beef. 5. Add the cream cheese, chili powder, salt and minced garlic to the beef and mix well until the cream cheese melts. 6. Stuff the pasta shells with the ground beef mixture. 7. Place the stuffed pasta shells in 9x13 inch baking dish. 8. When all the pasta shells are in the baking dish, pour the taco sauce over them. 9. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. 10. Remove from oven and sprinkle the cheeses on top of the pasta shells. 11. If you are using diced jalapeños- sprinkle a few of them on top of the cheese. 12. Next, sprinkle the crushed tortilla chips of top of the pasta shells. 13. Return to the oven uncovered and bake for an additional 1-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
You can serve with sour cream, hot sauce, salsa or extra jalapeños! Whatever suits your fancy!
