1 stick of butter
½ cup milk
2 cups of white sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
3½ cup quick oats

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a saucepan, combine the sugar, milk and butter and heat on medium heat until until it begins to boil.
2. Once it starts to boil, cook for one minute and then remove from heat.
3. Add the vanilla and peanut butter and mix well.
4. Then add oatmeal 1 cup at a time, mixing well.
5. Drop spoonfuls out on a large piece of wax paper.
6. When the cookies are cooled- store in an airtight container.

* You can add any flavor of 8oz baking chips (butterscotch, chocolate chip, etc.) instead of using peanut butter.
