Ingredients: BISCUITS FROM SCRATCH: 2 C. flour 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1 C. milk 1/3 C. butter 1/2 - 3/4 C. Cheddar Cheese, shredded 3 T. grated Parmesan (optional)
OR...USING BISQUICK: 2 C. Bisquick 2 T. Butter, softened 2/3 C. Cold Milk 1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder 1/2 - 3/4 C. Cheddar Cheese, shredded 3 T. grated Parmesan (optional)
GARLIC BUTTER GLAZE 1/4 C. Butter, melted 1 tsp. Dried Parsley 1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder 1/2 tsp. Italian Seasoning

Directions:Preheat oven to 450ºF.
FROM SCRATCH: Mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, salt and garlic powder. Cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in milk and cheddar cheese.
USING BISQUICK: Mix together Bisquick, garlic powder, and softened butter. Stir in milk and cheddar cheese.
TO BAKE: Drop dough by heaping spoonfuls onto a parchment lined pan. Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. While biscuits are baking, prepare garlic butter glaze by combining melted butter, parsley, garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Remove from oven and let cool 3 minutes. Using a basting brush, brush warm biscuits with butter mixture and serve. |
