2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 sticks butter
⅔ c. sugar
2 tsp. lemon extract
2 eggs
⅔ c. craisins (dried cranberries) or raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, and baking powder together, then cut in butter with a pastry cutter, until the mix is pea size. Add in sugar, lemon extract, eggs, and craisins or raisins, and mix well.

Drop a tablespoon full of scone dough on to an UNgreased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake in a 350 º oven for 15 minutes.

I usually make a half batch for Ken and myself, it makes about 10. We really enjoy them with a cup of coffee after breakfast, or any time during the day. This is Aunt Betty's recipe (Betty Whatman Decker), she was so kind to give it to me. Love you Sis.
