Peanut Butter Cake

1/2 c. unsalted butter or margarine
1½ c. sugar
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 t. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. flour
2 t. baking powder
1 t. salt
1 c. milk
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter or margarine. Add peanut butter, vanilla, and eggs. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Add to creamed mixture, alternating with milk and mixing well. Pour into 2 greased floured 9 inch round pans. Bake at 350º for 35-40 minutes. Cool and frost with peanut butter frosting.

1 c. unsalted butter or margarine
1 c. peanut butter
1 t. vanilla
1 t. salt (omit if using salted butter)
2 ½ c. powdered sugar
3 t. milk
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter or margarine. Blend in peanut butter, vanilla, and salt. Add sugar with milk, mixing well. Beat until light and fluffy.

This is a recipe from Bob's Aunt Tiny's family. It was his favorite childhood cake that he always requested for his birthday.
