1 C Shortening
1 C Brown Sugar
1 Egg
Pinch Salt
1 C Honey
2 tsp Soda
3 T hot water
1/2 tsp Anise Oil
5 C Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together shortening, brown sugar, add egg, stir. Add salt, honey, soda dissolved in hot water & anise Oil, stir and add flour. Let stand 1 hour before baking.
Roll & cut
Bake 10=12 minutes @ 375
