3/4 cup butter, softened
1-1/4 cup packed brown sugar
3 large eggs
1 tsp ground ginger
1-1/2 vanilla extract
1/2 tsp salt
1-1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
3/4 cup dried sweetened cranberries (Craisins)
1 cup white chocolate chips

Frosting:
4 oz cream cheese, softened
3 cups powdered sugar
4 tsp fresh lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped sweetened dried cranberries

Drizzle:
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tbsp half n half
2 teaspoons melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Butter a 9" x 13" baking pan and set aside.

Beat butter and brown sugar together with electric mixer until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla and mix well, set aside. Stir together the flour, baking powder, ground ginger and salt, then add to the egg mixture and beat until smooth. Gently fold in the dried cranberries and white chocolate chips. Pour into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until light brown on the edges. Remove from oven and let cool on a rack.

For frosting, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, lemon juice and vanilla with an electric mixer until smooth. When the bars are cool, spread frosting over the top evenly. Sprinkle diced cranberries evenly over the top.

For glaze: whisk together powdered sugar, half n half and melted butter until smooth. Put into a piping bag with a fine round tip, or into a sandwich bag and cut a very piece off one corner, drizzle glaze over the top of he frosting and cranberries in a zigzag pattern. Chill for an hour or so until glaze is set. Cut into bars or into triangles and serve.

These are delicious but very rich. I like to cut them into triangles. They are very pretty on a cookie tray at Christmas time.
