¾ c. butter
1 c. sugar
¼ c. molasses
1 egg
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
½ tsp. ground cloves
½ tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
½ tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and cool. Add sugar, molasses and egg, beat well. Mix together flour, soda, cloves, ginger, cinnamon & salt. Add to first mixture and mix well. Chill thoroughly. Form into 1-inch balls and roll in granulated sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet 2-inches apart. Bake for 8-10 minutes at 375º, do not over bake.
