"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Directions:
Butter 13x9 in. pan Melt butter in a large microwaveable bowl . Add all ingredients except milk and stir well. Add milk and stir. Microwave on high for 12 1/2 to 13 1/2 minutes. (depending soft you like your caramels) I like my caramels on the soft side, so I microwave 12 1/2 min. Stir in the vanilla. Pour immediately into the buttered dish. Cool for several hours. Cut with a pizza cutter and wrap pieces in wax paper.
