1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 3/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cream of tarter
1/2 tsp salt
cinnamon & sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degree.

Mix together butter, shortening, eggs, & sugar in a large bowl with a pastry blender.

Sift together flour, baking sode, & salt into a second bowl.

Slowly add the dry ingredients (2nd bowl) to the butter & egg mixture. Mix well using a pastry blender. It will be very dry - keep mixing.

Roll into ball the cookies into the size of a quarter. Roll in a mixture of cinnamon & sugar.

Place 2 inches apart on a ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
