2-1/2 pounds Ground Beef
1/2 whole Large Onion, Diced
2 cloves Garlic, Minced
1-1/2 cup Ketchup
1 cup Water
2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
2 teaspoons Chili Powder (more To Taste)
1 teaspoon Mustard
2 Tablespoons Tomato Paste (optional)
Tabasco Sauce (optional; To Taste)
Salt To Taste
Freshly Ground Black Pepper, To Taste

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef in skillet, drain fat. Add onions and cook until they begin to get soft. Add garlic and cook for a few more minutes. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for about 30 minutes. Taste and adjust seasonings. Toast buns on a griddle if desired. Spoon mixture between the buns and serve.
