3/4 cup shortening
1 1/4 cup butter
3 cups sugar
4 eggs
5 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
4 tsp. cream of tartar

1/2 cup sugar
2 - 3 T. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together flour, baking powder and cream of tartar. In a separte bowl cream shortening, butter and the 3 cups sugar unitl fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time. Slowly add in flour mixture until well combined. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Mix together remaining sugar and cinnamon. Roll dough into walnut-sized balls and roll in cinnamon and sugar mixture. Bake 400º for 8-10 minutes.
