16 oz. elbow macaroni, cooked al dente
8 oz. Velveeta cheese, cubed
8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
2 (10.75 ounces) can condensed Cheddar cheese soup
1 1/2 cups sour cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup milk
salt and ground black pepper to taste
shredded cheddar for top if desired

In a larger pan stir in the processed cheese cubes, Cheddar cheese soup, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, milk, salt, and black pepper. cook over low heat until cheese is almost melted and cooked macaroni. Pour into the prepared baking dish. Cover the casserole with aluminum foil. Bake in the preheated oven until bubbling, about 30 minutes; remove foil add more cheese on top if desired and cook an additional 5-10 minutes.
