1 package dry yeast
1 C warm water (105º to 115º)
3 C bread flour
1 tsp salt
Cooking Spray

1 Tbsp water
1 large egg white

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water and let stand for 5 minutes.
Place flour and salt in a food processor or mixing bowl and mix until blended.
With mixer on, slowly add yeast and process until dough forms a ball.
Turn dough out on a lightly floured surface and knead lightly 4-5 times.
Place dough in a large bowl coated with cooking spray, turning to coat top.
Cover dough with a clean towel and let rise 45 minutes in a warm place until doubled in bulk.
Punch dough down and shape into a round loaf or place in a bread pan (preferred to keep shape).
Cover and let rise 30 minutes or until doubled.
Preheat oven to 450º.
Uncover dough, make 3 diagonal cuts across dough. Combine 1 tbsp. water with egg white and brush this mixture on top of loaf.
Bake at 450º for 18-20 minutes.

This makes a very nice small loaf that should be eaten within 2 days. Easy to make and no bread machine needed!
