Personal Notes:
This recipe is added in memory of Emily Akins Towe. She was adored by everyone who knew her. As long as she was able she spent alot of time with sister Katherine. They loved to play Rook and took their card playing games very seriously. They, along with the rest of the siblings, were always there for each other when going through good times and the not so good times. During her lifetime she had a husband who was a preacher,a brother, a brother in law and several nephews so she pretty much spent her whole life around preachers. At the time of her death she was a member of her grandson's church, Victory Baptist, In Rockmart Georgia, and was absolutely proud as she could be of the wonderful job he is doing for God. She was proud and loved all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was mother to daughters, Joan Towe Smith and Barbara Towe Presley. Again, this was another sweet and precious aunt we had.
