2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
½ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
½ tsp allspice
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
1¼ cups unsweetened applesauce
1 cup sugar
½ cup vegetable oil
½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Topping:
¼ cup chopped pecans or walnuts
½ cup firmly packed brown sugar
¼ tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350ºF Grease 9x5-inch loaf pan.

2. Combine first seven, dry ingredients in medium bowl.

3. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, applesauce, sugar and oil.

4. Add dry ingredients and stir until smooth.

5. Stir in nuts; pour into prepared pan. Mix together topping and sprinkle on top of bread.

6. Bake 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool.
