1 lb lean ground beef
2 (14.5 oz) cans diced fire roasted tomatoes
1 can (14.5 oz) each drained and rinsed black beans, pinto beans, and dark red kidney beans.
1 can (14.5 oz) beef broth
3 medium chopped yellow onions
1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
1 T chili powder
1 chopped canned chipotle pepper in adobo sauce
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp coriander
2 oz bittersweet or semisweet chocolate
1 T honey

1 In a large skillet, cook gr. beef over medium high heat until browned, using a wooden spoon to break up meat as it cooks. Drain off fat. Transfer meat to a 4 to 5 qt slow cooker.
2. Stir in diced tomatoes, beans, broth, onions, tomato sauce, chili powder, chipotle, garlic, cumin, and coriander.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or HIGH for 3 to 4 hours.
3. If using low, turn to high. Stir in chocolate and honey. Cover and cook about 15 minutes or until heated through.

If desired, serve with sour cream and chopped green onions.
