box of phyllo sheets
asparagus spears, medium size best, if too thin... use 2 spears)
prosciutto de parma
fresh grated parmesan cheese
melted butter....lots

you need a pastry brush

Directions:
Thaw phyllo sheets in refrigerator.

When working, keep covered with damp towel so it does not dry out.. Cut in 3 inch vertical pieces and stack as soon as cut.

Get baking tray ready, lined with aluminum foil. You are going to wrap completed rollups in foil, leaving the tips out/exposed.

(If spears are thin, and you use 2, you may need to use 2 phyllo sheets)

Wrap spear in proscuitto, add freshly grated parmesan cheese, before rolling up in phyllo. Leave the asparagus spears sticking out 2 inches. lay at bottom of phyllo and roll up. Seal edge with melted butter.

Continue doing all the same way, working as quickly as possible so phyllo does not dry out.

Brush each piece with melted butter. Cover well and refrigerate on tray until ready to cook.

Spray with Pam before cooking at 350 to 375. BRING TO ROOM TEMP BEFORE COOKING
