1 clove garlic, crushed
8 sprigs parsley, leaves only
1 lb cabbage
2 lbs Italian sweet sausage
1/4 cup olive oil
2 oz salt pork, diced
1/3 cup diced onions
6 green peppers, cut into eighths
2 large ripe tomatoes, sliced thin
1 tsp crumbled dry rosemary
Pinch black pepper
1/4 lb prosciutto, diced

Directions:
Directions:
Chop garlic and parsley together. Shred cabbage; steam; drain and keep warm.
Cut sausage in pieces. Combine olive oil and salt pork in pan and heat. Add onions; brown slowly. Add sausage and cook slowly approximately 30 minutes. Add peppers, tomatoes, rosemary, black pepper, garlic and parsley. Cook 10 minutes, or until done.
Add prosciutto and cooked cabbage. Cover and cook slowly for 10 more minutes to blend flavor.
