1 stick butter
1 c. Bisquick
1 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
2-3 c. fresh peaches, sliced
Vanilla ice cream

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300º. Put 1/2 c. sugar on peaches and set aside. Melt butter in loaf pan. Combine Bisquick, remaining sugar, and buttermilk. Pour over the butter in the loaf pan. DO NOT STIR! Spoon the peaches on top of batter. DO NOT STIR! Bake for about 1 hour. Serve warm, topped with vanilla ice cream.

Y'all I really mean it - DO NOT STIR these ingredients! The crust will rise to the top and be all crunchy. It's amazingly good and something we always make in the summer when we can get those good fresh Chilton County peaches. (You can make with drained canned peaches, too, but it's just not the same....)
