¾ cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 cups flour
¼ cup molasses
1 egg
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
¼ tsp salt
Directions:
Directions:
Bake 350º for 9-10 minutes
Blend shortening and sugar, add egg, mix well
Add flour and remaining ingredients
Form into balls and roll in sugar
Bake on greased cookie sheet
Bake less time for softer cookies
