I cup sugar
2 Tbsp cocoa
2 Tbsp butter
½ tsp vanilla flavoring

Mix sugar and cocoa until blended well. Add enough water to dissolve sugar and cocoa mixture (about 1 to 2 cups). You will need enough water to let it boil with boiling over. Heat on medium heat until it begins to boil. Watch closely and stir because it boils fast. Turn heat to low and add butter and vanilla. Serve over hot biscuits!!!!!! Yummy!!!

My Granny Akins, Willie Mae (wife of Robert Akins), made this for her kids, who then made it for all of us! Love it!!! From the writers of this cookbook: Robert's wife was loved and remembered for so many things: she was a splendid cook and everything she made was mouth watering; if you look in the dictionary for definition of "Preacher's Wife" then you will see a picture of her because she is the epitome of what a preacher's wife is, was and should be. You would most always see her sweet, always present, smile, and anyone could see her devotion to her family. When Robert Akins married her, they made a perfect team raising 5 beautiful and special cousins for all of us: Linda, Diane, Anthony, Johnny and Tim. Robert preached for many years and led many people to Jesus leaving behind a great legacy.
