Personal Notes:
This soup is really good and reminds me of the soup served at the Dixie Stampede Theatre in Pigeon Forge Tennessee. This recipe is submitted in memory of Mary Akins Wood, wife of Irah Wood, and oldest child of John and I.N. Akins. She had three children, her first child died at birth (seems like he weighed something like 14 lbs and did not survive his birth). Her other two children Gwen Wood Graham and Coleman Wood both married and had children but both have since left this earth and joined their parents in heaven
