2 C sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 lb butter
few drops anise oil
2 T crisco (rounded)
juice from 1 orange
juice from 1 lemon
12 level tsp baking powder
Flour to make soft dough about 3 1/2 lbs

Beat butter then add sugar and eggs. Add rest and mix.
roll into desired shape.
Don't use mixer to add flour add by hand

Bake at 375º until light gold
