1 cup butter, softened
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
1 egg yolk
3 tsp vanilla extract
2-1/2 cups flour
Seedless strawberry jam (or substitute your favorite, such as blackberry or raspberry)

Drizzle:
2 cups powdered sugar
2 tbsp butter, softened
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2-3 tbsp half n' half

Preheat oven to 350º
Line 3 baking sheets with parchment paper, (or use ungreased baking sheets) set aside.
In a large bowl, cream the butter, cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg yolk and vanilla. Add the flour one half at a time and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or until dough is easy to handle.

Shape dough into 1" balls. Place 2" apart on lined baking sheets.Gently press a 1/2" deep indentation in the center of each ball. Fill with about 1/2 tsp of jam. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until set, edges of cookie should be just barely beginning to brown. Do not over bake.

Remove to wire racks to cool. Meanwhile, beat together the powdered sugar, butter, vanilla and half n' half for the drizzle. Put into a zip lock sandwich bag. Cut a very small piece off of one bottom corner of the bag. Drizzle over each cookie in a zigzag pattern. Let set.
