29 oz. can pear halves, drained, reserving syrup
16 oz. can mandarin oranges, drained, reserving liquid
16 oz. pkg. fresh cranberries
½ c. sugar
1 T. lemon juice
½ tsp. cinnamon
¼ tsp. ginger
3 T. orange flavored liqueur

Directions:
Directions:
Measure reserved liquids from pears and mandarins to equal 1½ c.

In medium sauce pan, combine reserved liquid, cranberries, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and ginger; mix well. Bring to a boil for 5 minutes or until cranberries pop open. Stir in liqueur, pears and oranges. Cook until all is heated. Serve immediately.

We made this recipe at the cabin at Christmas in 1990. It went well for the after meal dessert to warm us on the cold night.
