1 3lb boneless pork roast
2 tbsp olive or vegetable oil
1 packet of dry ranch dressing mix
1 packet lipton beefy onion seasoning mix
roughly 1 tbsp minced onion
1 stick of salted butter
6 peperoncini peppers
salt to taste
pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat oil in a skillet on medium-heat heat.
2. Dry both sides of the pork roast with a paper towel.
3. Season each side of the pork roast with a little bit of black pepper.
4. When the skillet is nice and hot, add the pork roast to sear (quickly brown) both sides of the pork roast.
5. Allow the pork roast to cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until it is a nice golden brown.
6. Add the pork roast to a slow cooker.
7. Sprinkle the dry ranch seasoning packet, and beefy onion mix packet on top of the pork roast.
8. Add the minced onion.
9. Place the butter on top of the roast.
10. Place the peppers on and around the pork roast.
11. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or until the meat is easily shreddable.

** You can either use the Lipton beefy onion soup mix or a dry onion soup mix.

This recipe is great served with mashed potatoes!
