1 medium pork belly piece
2 tbs 5 spice powder
4 tbsp Soy Sauce
4 tablespoons of sweet chilli sauce
1 thumb piece of ginger peeled and chopped finely
2 cloves of garlic crushed
2 star anise
2 tbsp of brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Rub the five spice into the scored pork belly. Place into a container and add all the other ingredients and mix well. Marinate overnight.
Preheat the oven to 220ºC.
Remove the pork belly from the marinade and wipe the fat clean with a kitchen towel. Place into a roasting dish and then roast for about 20 minutes before reducing the heat to 160º Cook for anothe 1 and 1/2 hours.
Serve with a dipping sauce:
4 tbls Soy
Grated ginger
1 tbls Sweet chilli sauce
Garnish with some chopped spring onion and a little chopped chilli.

Serve with steamed jasmine rice.
