4 large green peppers, halved lengthwise and seeded

1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, minced
1 c. cooked rice
1 tsp Worcestershire
1/4 tsp pepper
15 oz can tomato sauce divided
2 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese

Directions:

In a covered skillet steam peppers in 1 c. boiling salted water (5 min) drain well and place in 12 x 8 x 2 baking dish. Saute beef and onion until meat is lightly browned and onion is tender. Drain off excess fat. Stir in rice, Worcestershire, pepper, 3/4 tsp salt and about 1/2 c. tomato saucer enough to bind mixture, fill peppers. Been remaining tomato sauce with 1/2 c. water. Pour around peppers, sprinkle parmesan on peppers. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven about 30 minutes or until sauce is bubbl and peppers are tender.
