2 "scant" cups sugar (not sure what that means"
5 eggs
3 Tbsp flour mix with 2 level Tbsp cornstarch
3 1/4 c. milk
Pinch salt
Nutmeg

Pie Crust
1/2 c. lard
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 c. flour

Directions:

Custard
Mix sugar, flour and enough milk to make a paste, add beaten eggs then rest of milk.
Hmmm that is where I assume you bake the pie shell and add the mixture to the baked crust and bake? It sounds good but... haha Granny.
