1 pkg (16 oz) dried black-eyed peas
1 c cubed fully cooked ham
1 medium onion, finely chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp seasoned salt
1 tsp pepper
4 c water

Directions:
Directions:
Rinse and sort black-eyed peas; soak according to pkg directions. Drain and rinse the peas, discarding liquid. Transfer the peas to a 4 qt slow cooker. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cook, covered, on low 8 to 10 hours or until peas are tender.
Serve with a slotted spoon
