1 lb soft butter
3/4 cp granulated sugar
1/2 cp brown sugar
1 egg plus 1 yolk
1 Tbsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 rsp sea salt
2 3/4 cp flour

Cinnamon coating
1/4 cp granulated sugar
1 Tbsp. Cinnamon

Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. Cream butter. Add sugars and beat 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy. Add rest of ingredients except flour. Beat 1 minute making sure to scrape sides of bowl. Add flour and beat at low speed until just well blended.
Cover cookie sheet with parchment paper. Roll 2 tsp. of dough into a ball. Roll in cinnamon sugar until coated and place on cookie sheet about 2" apart. Bake 10-12 minutes until edges lightly browned. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before transferring.
