12 large eggs
2 c whole milk
1 c heavy cream
1 stick salted butter, melted
1 T ground cinnamon
Pinch of salt
1 c pure maple syrup
1 16 oz loaf challah bread, sliced

Directions:
Directions:
1. Whisk the eggs, milk, heavy cream, melted butter, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl.
2. Pour 1 c maple syrup into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Place the bread slices on top of the syrup, shingling them in the pan. Pour the egg mixture on top. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
3. Preheat oven to 350º. Uncover the French toast and bake until puffed, golden brown and cooked through, about 1 hour.

Let rest 10 minutes before serving.
