8 ripe plum tomatoes
4 t evoo
1 garlic clove, bruised
1/4 t salt
freshly ground pepper to taste
6 ounces spaghetti
1/2 c minced basil

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the tomatoes, oil, garlic, salt and pepper in a serving bowl.

Cook the spaghetti to al dente. When it is almost done, remove the garlic from the tomato mixture and discard. Drain the pasta and add to the tomato mixture. Toss gently to coat, sprinkle with the basil to serve.
