Directions:Mix in a gallon-size zip-seal bag. Do not use a metal spoon or bowl. Do not refrigerate. Leave out on the counter or cabinet top. Day 1: Do nothing. Day 2 through 5: Mush bag one to two times a day. Day 6: Add 1 cup flour, 1 cup sugar and 1 cup milk. Mush bag (it may become lumpy). Day 7 through 9: Mush bag and let out air, 2 times a day Day 10: Add 1 cup flour, 1 cup sugar and 1 cup milk. Pour one cup starter into each of four gallon-size bags for friends. Use what is left to make the bread. |

Add: 2 c. flour 1 c. sugar 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 c. pecans, chopped (opt.) 1 Ig. box instant vanilla pudding

Directions:Mix thoroughly. Pour into two large or four, small, greased and sugared loaf pans. You can also use one Bundt pan. Sprinkle extra sugar and cinnamon on top. Bake at 350º for 1 hour. |

Notes: Note: For 24 muffins, bake at 350º for 30 to 35 minutes. Variations: You can use banana pudding with walnuts; vanilla pudding with blueberries; chocolate pudding with chocolate chips; chocolate or vanilla pudding with butterscotch chips or peanut butter chips; or vanilla or lemon pudding with poppy seeds.
