2 cups sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup water
2 medium egg whites
1/8 tsp salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Assemble ingredients and utensils needed. Chop nuts coarsly. Combine in a sauce pan 2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup light corn syrup, 1/2 cup water, and set aside. In a large mixing bowl add 2 egg whites and 1/8 tsp salt. Beat on high speed until stiff but still moist (about 21/2 minutes). Slowly pour hot syrup over egg whites while continuing to beat on high speed until mixture begins to thicken. Scrape bowl while beating. Add 1 tsp. vanilla, chopped nuts and beat until mixture will hold its shape.
Drop from a teaspoon onto waxed paper.
