1 Baked pie crust
1 batch of Meringue
3½ c sour cream
4 large eggs
2 c sugar
⅓ heaping cup flour
2 c raisins

Meringue:
15 large egg whites
¼ heaping tsp cream tartar
2 c powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º

In a saucepan stir together the sour cream and egg yolks. Add sugar, flour, and raisins. Cook on high heat, stirring constantly. You need to watch carefully so it doesn't scorch. Cook until very thick. When you hold the spoon up out of pan the mixture should stick and barely come off the spoon.

Remove from heat and pour into the baked crust. Refrigerate until cooled

Top with meringue and bake for 15 -20 min, until golden brown. Cool completely. Keep in refrigerator.

Meringue:
Using mixer on high, beat the egg whites and cream of tartar in medium bowl until foamy. Gradually add sugar, beat until peaks form.

With spoon spread the meringue evenly over cool pie filling. cover whole pie
