Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3 cans Old El Paso Enchilada Sauce
1 large can tomate paste
2 large cans whole tomatoes
2 cans el paso chopped green chilies
3 large green peppers
2 med.- large onions
1 lb mushrooms
1 lb. grated cheddar cheese
2 doz frozen corn tortillas (1 dozen go into the chili)
1 lb. hamburger
1 lb. package pinto beans (washed and soaked in cold water overnight)

Directions:
Directions:
OK - the directions on this are really sketchy! It says "325 with lid in oven for 4-6 hours. 6 is better.

Next to the tortillas it says "heat in 350 oven for 5-10 minutes. flip. break up into bite-size pieces." I think she put 1/2 of the crisp tortillas into the chile to cook and then broke up the other half to serve with the chili.

So, I did call her about the cheese, and she thinks she put a handfull of cheese into the pot to cook into the chili and then saved the rest to serve on top.

So there you have it! Looks like this one will require some experiementation but it's worth it - this truly is the best chili I've ever had!

Personal Notes:
Turns out, this is Bob Hanson's recipe (a friend of Aunt Marion). But it will forever be, in my world, the best chili ever by Aunt Marion!
