Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 cups Bisquick baking mix
2/3 cup milk
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese or a little more
1/4 cup melted butter
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder or onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dry ranch salad dressing mix OR Italian seasoning

Butter Topping:
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 tablespoon minced chives or parsley
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder and onion powder OR
1/2 teaspoon dry ranch salad dressing mix

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Have an ungreased baking sheet ready.

In a large bowl, fold together the baking mix, seasoning, milk, and cheese until the mixture forms a soft dough. DO NOT OVER MIX. You will make it dense. You may add a little more milk if too dry.

Drop the dough in about 1/4-cup size dollops onto the ungreased baking sheet. Do not place them too close together. They will be a little sticky, wet your fingers to drop easier.

Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake at 450 degrees F for 8-10 minutes or until just golden brown. (Do not overbake or they will be dense and hard.)

Mix together the melted butter and garlic powder. Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Brush the tops of the biscuits with the garlic butter then serve while they are still warm.

Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature or up to 2 days.

Personal Notes:
Who doesn't love a good biscuit. Leftovers great for breakfast. My son- in-law asked for the recipe so I guess its a hit. Here you go!

Tip I usually place a end slice of sandwich bread in the container along with biscuits to keep them nice and soft.
