5 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup lard (Tenderflake)
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 cup less 1 tablespoon cold water (put 1 tablespoon vinegar in measuring cup. Add cold water to 1 cup)

Directions:
Directions:

1. Mix flour and salt together.
2. Add lard. Using your fingers, cut lard into flour until crumbly.
3. Add water/vinegar mixture.
4. Mix well until dough forms a ball.
5. Separate into 4 to 5 equal pieces and roll each into balls.
6. Chill for at least 1 hour (preferably overnight)
7. Roll out on floured surface using floured rolling pin.

My mother’s recipe for lovers of lard pie crusts.
Easier to handle/Does not crumble like Crisco dough (my favourite).
