4 c whole milk
8 c bread cubes
1 c (149g) raisins
2 TB butter, melted
6 eggs, beaten
1/3 c (66g) sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp cinnamon or nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350º. Grease 8x11 or 9x12 baking dish.
2. Put bread and raisins in baking dish. Beat remaining ingredients together. Heat in microwave for 5 minutes. Pour over bread.
3. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes until set: bread springs back when tapped hard, top is crunchy and golden. If the top is browning too fast, cover loosely with foil.
