Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 large pkg bone-in chicken breasts with skin (can also use some chicken legs if you like)
1 large 28-oz can Hunt's tomato sauce
3 Tablespoons butter
salt
garlic powder

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cut each chicken breast in half, slicing through the bone. Trim away any excess skin (but don't remove all of it).
Sprinkle both sides of breasts with generous amount of salt and garlic powder.

Melt butter in large saucepan. Add chicken breasts and brown on both sides until golden. Put chicken breasts in large baking dish. Pour the tomato sauce over and between the breasts. Add about half the melted butter from the frying pan in between the breasts on top of the tomato sauce (I use half the butter because if you add too much of the butter the sauce will be too weak and thin)

Cover baking dish with foil and bake for 1.5-2 hours. Sometimes I flip the breasts halfway through cooking and re-cover the dish and continue to bake.

Personal Notes:
This is one recipe where I ONLY use Hunt's tomato sauce. It makes a much better sauce than using any other brand. I also ALWAYS serve this with medium sea shell pasta because it scoops up the sauce and is great.
