2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
4 eggs
1 c. raisins
1 c. pecans, chopped in large pieces
1 t. cinnamon
1 t. ground cloves
3 t. vinegar
2 pie shells

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs one at a time. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into unbaked pie shell. (I use deep dish). Bake @ 350º for 40-50 minutes, until pie barely shakes.

Note: If using 9" deep dish pie shells, use 1½ cup pecans and 1½ c. raisins.

This is an old family recipe passed down from Grandma Spear (Mom Maw's grandmother). It's a family favorite for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Ed Skeen loved this and always asked Mom Maw to bake it when he came to visit.
