1 Pkg. softened Cream Cheese
1 T. softened Butter
2 C. cubed Cooked Chicken
1 T. chopped Chives or Onion
¼ tsp. Salt
⅛ tsp. Pepper
2 T. Milk
1 T. chopped Pimientos, if desired.
1 can (8 oz.) Pillsbury™ refrigerated crescent dinner rolls or 1 can (8 oz.) Pillsbury™ refrigerated Crescent Dough Sheet
1 T. melted butter
¾ C. seasoned croutons, crushed

1. Heat oven to 350º F. In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese and 1 tablespoon softened butter; beat until smooth. Add chicken, chives, salt, pepper, milk and pimientos; mix well.
2. Separate or cut dough into 4 rectangles. If using crescent dough, firmly press perforations to seal. Spoon ½ cup chicken mixture onto center of each rectangle. Pull 4 corners of dough to center of chicken mixture; twist firmly. Pinch edges to seal. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Brush tops of sandwiches with 1 tablespoon melted butter; sprinkle with crushed croutons.
3. Bake 25 - 30 minutes or until golden brown.

This is a recipe that I used to make often but as the years passed, I forgot about it. Then one day, my sister Peggy said that she was making this for dinner. I asked for the recipe and wa-la. I'm so glad that this oldey was resurrected from the past. It's "melt-in-your-mouth" delicious!
