2 8-oz cream cheese, softened
16 oz Cool Whip
2 cups powdered sugar
1 1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 sticks of butter, softened
1/2 cup pecans
1 can cherry pie filling

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Blend flour, butter and pecans.
Press evenly into 13 x 9 baking dish.
Bake for approx 25 minutes, or until done.
Let cool completely.
Combine cream cheese (make sure it’s softened, or it will ball up and not be smooth), Cool Whip and powdered sugar. Spread mixture evenly onto cooled shortbread crust. Chill overnight.
Top with cherry pie filling prior to serving.
