4 eggs
1 cup water
½ cup butter
1 cup flour
Dash of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Place butter, salt and water is a heavy pan. Bring to a rolling boil then add flour and mix until thick and smooth. Add eggs one at a time beating after each egg. drop by spoonful on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 450º for 10 minutes then reduce heat to 400º and bake another 25 minutes. Cool on racks. Slice and fill.

These are not sweet and can be used with chicken salad as an appetizer or filled with custard and sprinkled with powdered sugar.

Custard: 2 cups milk, 3 Tablespoons flour, 1 cup sugar, dash of salt, 3 egg yolks, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Mix in the top of a double boiler and cook until thick. Cool completely and fill puffs.
