2 lb. bag of frozen hash browns
3/4 cup chopped onion
1 stick butter
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 pint sour cream
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
Corn Flake crumbs, Panko bread crumbs or crushed potato chips for topping

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion in butter until soft, remove from heat and add soup and sour cream, mix well and add cheese. Stir in potatoes and pour into a greased 9x13 oven proof dish. Top with your choice of toppings

Bake 350 for an hour.

Great for pot lucks or large groups.
We prefer the cubed hash browns with crushed potato chips for this recipe. I have omitted the onion for a picky eater and it was still very good. I have also used O'Brian Hash Browns which were good.
