2 c. flour
2 tsp soda
1 tsp cinnemon
1/2 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cloves
1/4 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 cup light brown sugar
1/2 c. soft margerine
2 C. hot applesauce
1 cup chopped dates
3/4 c. chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Add eggs, brown sugar, margerine and 1 cup of hot applesauce. Beat three minutes. Add another cup of applesauce, dates and walnuts. Beat another minute.

Bake at 350 for 50 minutes
