1 box yellow cake mix
1 small box instant vanilla pudding
1+1/3 cup water
4 eggs
1/4 cup oil
2 cups coconut
1 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped

FROSTING:
4 TB butter
2 cups coconut
1 (8 oz) pkg Cream cheese
2 tsp milk
3+1/2 cup confectionary sugar/sifted
1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º

Blend cake mix, pudding, water, eggs & oil.

Beat 4 minutes at medium speed

Stir in nuts & coconut. Pour into 3 - 9" cake pans

Bake for 35 minutes

Let cool on racks, out of pans

Make frosting:

Melt 2 TB butter in skillet. Add 1 cup coconut & stir until brown. drain on paper towel & let cool

Cream 2 TB butter with cream cheese. Add milk & sugar & mix well.

Add vanilla & rest of the coconut. Spread on top & on sides of cske.

Sprinkle browned coconut on top
